Hi.

I’m so lost right now. I don’t know what I should do. It’s just so lonely.
So sad . We all have our moments where we feel lonely. Of course we miss our ex. Me too but when I think about it I make a big tinge by contacting him so I leave it at that. These men not only have one lady they have up to several so if you do not want to become a number or one that they utilize do not contact. Brazil girl adversity makes us strong. :)

only i don't know if they can truly love, their true love for money gifts, clothes
Don't think they have feelings for us westerners at all even though they say they like europe it is not true then they would not have brought so much of their traditions out of their own country. They only have real feelings if the girl is a virgin (one of their own) otherwise it is just talk of money and visa that's what I think but of course there can be exceptions? who knows? It is impossible to believe them because in fact they are dangerous also they can put other lives at risk.

It's not about westerners or virgin girls, it's about the mentality here in tunisia. The majority of man don't respect women and their feelings and always think egocentrically even though Tunisia is the first arab country to care about women's right (crazy paradox).

In my view, men only think of themselves. But frankly they call us western women for ugly words. Think they have more respect for a girl who is a virgin but I think I understand what you mean? Believe that they are kind until they are married and begin the life of very poor girls. The nightmare starts

Ismail has a point there - and the point is that the persons we talk here about do usually not treat women of their own nationality better. However, women there have been socialized and educated to deal with that, while the education and socialization in western countries won't take such a situation into account or outright shames or forbid it.

The problem lies in the money the man pays for his Tunisian girl (gold and everything else) when he pays a certain amount to her so he thinks he owns her and can do whatever he wants. She is blamed for everything and no support from her own family

Yes and no - because this can be a motive, and has been in history, but the more educated women become in Tunisia (and then become less dependent on the man's money), the less this is a background.
I am talking about "the" women here, not about a specific subgroup of lower economic and/or education standing, for which money will still be the most dominant issue. In meeting mostly people from certain groups, we are often lead to believe that such groups stand for (todays, not 30 or 50 years ago) average Tunisian. With Tunisia, we have additionally to take into account that Tunisia is very different in itself - people from the east coast and Tunis, people from the western mountains, people from the southern sahel have very different ethics, traditions and life circumstances.

Womens rights in Tunisia ! Yeah that always amazes me ,they also boast that there are more women in goverment than in any other muslim country. Its such a male orientated culture ,these women in goverment are just like tigers with no teeth. All show and no substance. Its again a con.Womens rights do not exisit .Ive traveled all over Tunisia and regardless of education,or how much money a woman earns, she is still dictated to by the men in her family,,There is no freedom of choice .And any woman who rebels is cast out ,or looked upon with disgust .There is an absence in the law regarding equality..They have abolished this law,,But retained the marry your rapist law.Its so contradicting ,,the Hijab can be worn at a woman descrestion ,but she can also wear a bikini ,if she choses...

Exactly. But here it is what if! You are a virgin when met. You tick all the box's same age. They only want there own and if it takes two years five years seven years for visa they will stay then when settled in Europe. UK they will change. We will all read my post and go my man and me we r solid. They are all the same. I have watched and seen and myself included. What ever country they get too all off sudden they will have a new tunsian friend that just popped out off the wardrobe. And this special friend will have been told to him threw a family member are a friend. Then watch how he changes cos the only thing in his head is to make money and send home. Not all the plans you had are the money they owe you to be paid back not a chance. Its not you this has been a plan by a cold con man because this is all they are CON Men and if this post can help someone I'm sending a healing angel to you.

They have implemented new specialised police to deal with domestic abuse and violence towards women but it is too slow being rolled out and not many women know about it.

It is there but needs to be publicised much much more.

Spring Arabic was of no use. Don't know but it is not Tunisia culture and traditions that govern everything. In fact, I think it is impossible for Tunisian men to change their view of women. It does not help to fight for their women's rights when they do not come any way because of old traditions
