Hi Everyone

Wondering what your thoughts are? As you may know I have recently discovered (6 days ago) my Tunisian boyfriend (now ex):cry:is married to a Tunisian woman, lives with her and has 2 children with her. He led me to believe he was separated from her, did not live with her and had 1child with her. He was just hoping to divorce her when he could afford to. Even told me that he has to pay 170 dinars a month to her and the 1 child:hmm:

This man "chased" me from day one, and when not in Tunisia I received relentless text messages and calls ...all so serious and believable. What did he want? why did he lie? (even about how many children he has)?

The main question is: why do married Tunisian men have "serious" relationships with European women? are they unhappy with their life, their wife or what ?
They're good at convincing these foreign women that they are "serious" - a high quality, socially experienced woman wouldn't fall for it.

the Tunisian wife or family members are in on this because they know it will bring money in for the family.
Yes

men or rather males chose to pick one woman for life( children, housekeeping, everyday access to sex)
Tunisians, like men other Arab nationalities, see non-Muslim women as non-complete. Do not ever fool yourself into thinking that you are more than a playtoy, a phase for a Tunisian man. In many Gulf Arab nations, men will take one Russian wife for pleasure and another for love.

as soon as a male achieves that he starts leaving his cave which he has carefully signed with his smell looking for new females.
That's all men, hun

don't they have any morality whatsoever or any conscience??
No, they don't. Welcome to Tunisia, where morals and conscience is for the limited, civilised few. You won't meet civilised people working in hotels.

if this is the accepted in their culture.
Tunisians are berbers, formally known up to a certain point in the not-so-distant past as barbarians. They're not Arab. They don't have a developed culture of their own. Those who were raised educated and with morals went through a French/European assimilation program. That which is good in/about Tunisia is not Tunisian.

In the words of Winston Churchil, "study history!"

Good to hear this is not accepted in Tunisian culture...beginning to think it was.
See what I have written above

The reason she wants hubby to buy it thought is because she wants to be able to say she got it from France, or Germany, or somewhere else.
Put an end to this "norm". Discipline, even when administered to late-adults, is always good for the mind and soul. Do not encourage this sort of behaviour. Say "no!" and be firm!

I think it's people with the mentality of the aunt you describe that leave a bad taste in your mouth -that attitude is just plain ugly.
I agree, thanks for telling her this way back when.

I've heard (read on a dutch forum) that normally when you have a gift they dont unpack this when you are in the room with them.
That Dutch forum is full of people who were ratted. Insist, make things weird for your rat's relatives. Insist that they open the gifts in front of you to "test that it works". My mum and dad always purchase their electronics online (off of eBay) and they always say "I need to leave the seller feedback, and if the item doesn't work, return it". If it's a phone or computer, have them turn it on and insist on helping them set it up. This will significantly decrease resale value. If you didn't know, they'll just sell whatever sealed item you bring them for significantly more than what you paid for it. Bringing stuff over for resale is a huge, highly profitable business in Tunisia.

his brothers lynx stuff, his neice clothes, dad socks
I personally use Lynx spray and the prices are way lower in Tunisia than abroad - the smell is exactly the same. I also buy clothes in Tunisia to bring back to family as there are a lot of clothes made locally in Tunisia and for much cheaper than what it'd cost abroad

as for marrying a Tunisian girl for money - is that possible in Tunisia? I was convinced a rich girl would never even look at a poor guy over there
Tunisians never cease to amaze. They are masters at swindling people out of items and money. This is not impossible. I know a young girl (21-22 years old) with a 30 year old lazy piece of Shite Tunisian boyfriend. Her parents aren't wealthy, but she pays for his rent and takes care of him like a big baby. If the girl is significantly younger and comes from a rich (by local standards) family, this can and does happen...

I believe in most cases, the majority of women would not be okay with their boyfriend, fiance, or husband being with any other woman no matter what her nationality, age, or looks.
Tunisian women are extremely jealous. My woman flips out when I so much as get a response to one of my old rat traps. I used to send a single message "Tunisian?" on Messenger and hundreds of girls would respond every week. I've since stopped, but some reply after a year or two. No self respecting Tunisian woman would consciously allow this to happen on her watch. If she is indifferent, she is a "Shite" woman and seeing as Tunisia is a society where women controll everything and men constantly place them on a pedestal, she would never accept a man if he was of a low quality - if the man is a rat, she is a low quality woman. Shite attracts Shite, stay away!

I just heard of a Tunisian guy here who scammed a Tunisian girl out of her money and a whole lot more.

Really sad..sad sad sad. He is a US citizen, she is illegal. He seduced her, got a whole week in Vegas with her. Of course she paid for everything, flight room ..etc.. plus gave him $600 in cash to gamble with.

Then he showed her the door !
Absolute Honey.

As somebody in the uk once said when on holiday "keep yer haun on yer hapeney and yer nickers up"
What is a haun and what is a hapeney?

I have been informed by him that there will be a "bad surprise" for me when I return to Tunisia!!?? whatever that means. Is that a threat?!
Notify the local police.

he quoted something like £3,000
Get an honest lawyer. PM me if you need an introduction. There is no way a divorce costs this much, unless either party is filthy rich. I don't think someone who falls in love with a Tunisian simpleton on holiday meets the criteria, nor do I think her simpleton would.

You say you are just 21 - wow you have been through a lot for your tender years, investing in companies. marrying a female rat, now with a new gf that is happy for you to devalue and use women?

You must be a hell of a catch

My mind boggles.

My thoughts exactly . I don’t believe he is 21.

His wording and his levels of experience don’t match up to his age. He also talks about living in Tunisia as its cheap to live there etc ...to me he sounds like someone who retired early and wishes to take advantage of cheap living and the local women .... 50s maybe? Just a thought

socially inept?
A woman who, in her 30s or 40s a) gets divorced or has not yet been married b) goes on holiday to Tunisia (this speaks about her finances and poor choice, why not go to Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Brazil, Argentina, Asia or the Carribean?) c) catches feeling for a giggolo and d) marries a man half her age and with a quarter of her intelligence is not the same as:

a) a late teens/early twenties guy who b) makes above-average money through crypto and flipping stuff on Gumtree/eBay c) travels and socialises with people of his own age d) falls in love under normal circumstances with a girl who seems normal who e) turns out, is only in it for the visa

I'm not an old fart who can't get some back home going to the Phillipines for barely legal girls. I'm a young guy "socialising" with young girls (though there was one woman in her 30s, hehe) all over the world who had his naivety shattered by Tunisia (this has made me more open to the world) and out of hurt decided to "get back".

Didn't you yourself fall for a ratess?
I am not 30-40 and divorced/not married. I did not leave home because I couldn't get some and come to Tunisia just so that I could. I am where I need to be (and beyond) at this age/stage in my life. I tried marriage a bit too early, it didn't work out. No worries.

I was tricked, and for this I am angry at the rat and give my full support to anyone here who has been hurt by a rat - but these entire situations can be avoided. I assume responsibility for my screw up. If you stay in the UK and look for love in the pub, you're much less likely to get burnt by a Tunisian rat.

why is this person still here
Because even in Tunisia, there is freedom of speech. I have not thrown insults at any member, why would I not be allowed on here?

your tender years
"My tender years" - gee, you must have quite a lot of years under your belt. My 74 year old nan doesn't consider my years tender...

investing in companies
I guess you lot really aren't as experienced as you think you are if an "off" 21 year old writes better than you and is investing in companies (I don't recall writing about "investing" in companies - I've registered companies for tax relief and you could get property in Spain at the end of 2016 for as little as 35k€, 40 inc taxes - 10-30% downpayment and an agency to find you tenants that pay off your mortgage taken out in a relatives name - not rocket science, but I digress...)

happy for you to devalue and use women
She agrees that not only women, but the majority of men in this country are Shite. I can see why what I used to do can be seen as bad, and she does not condone those specific actions. As I am her man, she doesn't want me talking to women, in general. Thus, my preferences/strategies are irrelevant/moot as I am satisfied with the woman that I have now.

We live in a messed up world if it takes you being in your late 30s at the very earliest to realise that it is possible to live in a place where you can work online (or the simple fact that you don't need a 9 to 5 to survive) and not pay any taxes. Your world view is concocted if only a 50 year old can like beautiful, exotic women, have ambition/grandiose plans for his life or be willing to move abroad to improve the quality of his life.

Maybe you went to a crappy school too... "wording and levels of experience" - the world is your oyster, you have a red passport, do you not? Any undeveloped country will give you advantages not afforded to locals - experience is easy to aquire, you just need the motivation. "Wording"? I went to a state school, didn't even finish all of my GCSEs - I didn't need them. My hustle was already booming... my level of writing is hardly something out of the ordinary.

Jury is out on that - you may not have directly insulted anyone but your constant references to us being stupid, old, no class etc etc is more than enough so from me it's goodnight.

You are correct, you are very well spoken... bravo for you. I’m an Arab woman and you don’t impress me. I feel sorry for the girl you found. You keep mentioning these women can’t get someone back home... you don’t know what you are talking about. Believe me I know there is someone for everyone everywhere. You also keep bringing up the age range of 30-40, what is your problem?? I really think you should remove yourself from this forum... it’s clearly not for someone of your caliber... as polished as you are my dear. My husband is Tunisian Arab and he would damn near kill you if he heard you speak about women in such a callous and arrogant way. To be honest you come off as an arrogant dumbass with an agenda. You have something to prove? Please go to another forum on the world wide web and blah blah to other people about your overwhelming life knowledge and business positivity.

"My tender years" - gee, you must have quite a lot of years under your belt. My 74 year old nan doesn't consider my years tender...

Nobody gives a rat's ass of your opinion on who can do what with who in which country. You assume much about the women here on this forum? We go there to have sex / relation with a gigolo? No we don't. We go on vacation to many parts of the world but we don't expect to be swinddled or scammed by them. And why are you even here? Many of the women here are well educated but you seem to think we are not? Have a nice day
